Interview Prep for Pageants

As a former Miss Teen Louisiana and international pageant competitor, I know how intimidating pageant interviews can be. I began competing in pageants at the age of 13 and started working with an interview coach when I was 16 years old. I won Teen Louisiana at the age of 17 and firmly believe that coaching helped me win. I practiced answering questions about my character and beliefs, career goals, platform and advocacy, and current world news events.

I went on to be a judge contestants in Miss Teen America and International Cinderella Scholarship Pageants. The Interview Round of a pageant is the most important because it totals 30% of your final score, and you only get one chance to make a first impression.

In these sessions, we will rehearse questions and answers focused on your thought process, reasoning and delivery. Posture, hand gestures, facial expressions and vocal tone will also be reviewed. Rehearsal will be geared towards seated questions in the interview room and on-stage delivery.
